Well I happen to have 2 or 3 pink shirts and DS has 1...I personally think we look fabulous in them!

I have a pink dress shirt I wear all the time. People say it takes a brave man to wear pink, but I don't think so.

I think I'd be AFRAID of getting more info... <chuckles> ... but I do appreciate your offer. It was a ton of work to break down the notebook computer. I have photos and it was litterially EVERY SCREW being removed to dissassemble it - and we didn't really fix anything. I am using it as is now with the cut corner of a credit card used to provide physical support and stability so I can plug a power plug in...

So - I'll keep ya in mind! Thanks again for the offer...

LOL...I have a Sony Vaio that only works if you slip a folded business card under the memory card...need something or other sautered, I forget exactly what????

DH's plane is on the Discover Channel right now. :)

Is anyone else watching Wife Swap??:scared1:

My DW and DD had it on, but they turned it off after the first 5 minutes, I heard the screams coming from the other room, I'm glad I wasn't watching it with them tonight!!! :scared1:  :scared1:

Is there a particular reason why a woman can't pick up a screwdriver and install the hooks herself? ;)

SWMBO and I are looking for new cars. She was excited that one had tire pressure sensors since it meant I'd stop yelling at her to check the tire pressure.

I got one of those new fangled, all the bells and whistles cars last April - I have not had it back to the dealership 4, count them 4 times to have the reprogram the bleeping seat! When you turn the car off and remove the key, the seat is supposed to go all the way back and it doesn't half the time. Today they tried a new one on me - it only does it when the seat is in front of a certain point - so I got in the car after DH returned it to me, brought the seat all the way forward, turned to car off and removed the seat. And guess what happened? NOTHING!!!!! So I told DH who told me to live with it, we only have the car another two years (leased).

I'm like, HELLO! I'm still bleeping paying for the bleeping thing! I EXPECT IT TO WORK!!!! So now I don't trust the tire thing or anything else on the bleeping car.

My brother went through extensive testing before the diagnosis was confirmed. But because of so many other issues with him it wasn't diagnosed until 4 or 5 years ago. He doesn't have the chest but does have the thumb/pinkie. They have tried him on numerous med's but he continues to grow. At this point his heart is really bad and they don't think that he would survive the heart surgery. Because of some other mental issues (he is considered boarderline retarded and is bi-polar amongst other things) he is in a supportive living home, which takes some of the pressure off of my mom, but of course doesn't lessen the guilt.

I can believe that it took a while to get a diagnosis. When you are dealing with something that is not common, many people miss the signs. I'm glad your mother was able to get some help, but as a parent you always feel helpless when you can't make everything perfect. Prayers to your family!

Why thank You Andy...

... but you have not seen the back yard yet, have you?

We break ground on expanding the skinny lap pool into a proper lake tomorrow at 9AM! We ought to be done by 5PM again!!!!

<soft snickerring>

Boy, I needed this laugh tonight!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Do you remember where it was? Maybe I could venture over and get some.

I want to say that it was at a store called The Bay Company.....sort of across the street from the ship museum, where you can go ON the ships. KWIM?

NOOO don't go! We can avoid housework together. Safety in numbers you know! I can blame you & you can blame me. It's all good.

I LOVE the Christmas Tree Shop! I made the treck 1-2x a month when we lived in CT.

Please buy something you totally don't need, but can't beat the price in my honor.

The difference between men and women:

Men will spend twice as much on something they need.
Women will spend half as much on something they don't need.

Sorry - not in my house. Here DH will spend three times as much on something that will get used once and then collect dust in the attic until I do something with it.

Hey yeah ----that is the pot calling the kettle black.....:lmao: :lmao:
I homeschool2 children, take one to preschool, pick her up, helping to remodel a BR, cook, clean, fold clothes, do all the bills and taxes, clean up dog bricks, and still had a sleepover last night with my son's best friend. (and DIS):upsidedow

Get a job.
