Well, I tried to post this 4 hours ago but couldn't so here I go again...

Welcome back, Stacey!

Thank you! Fun as it is to take a trip, it's always nice to be home.

So you're telling me that I say stupid stuff all the time?? ;) :rotfl:

And besides, doesn't everyone take their phone in the bathroom when waiting for THE CALL??

Well, you were the first to admit it. ;) I think that many cordless phones found their way into the bathroom on 1/31. :lmao: I had DS listening to the B&B music while I was getting DD bundled up for school that day & fixing a quick breakfast so that I could sit down & listen for myself.

Both actually... I think though for the banner all I have to do is copy and paste, correct??

So I guess what I'm not sure of is doing a family photo, thanks for your help

I opened a photobucket account, it's free.

I copied one of the pictures that Crash provided (that's not us) onto my desktop.

From photobucket I uploaded the photo. I tried to re-size it in photobucket but everytime I pasted it it was too big. I ended up copying the re-sized photo back onto my desktop & then back into photobucket.

Anyway, after you have it in photobucket there are three URL addresses for pasting the photo. Pick the third option (line) When you click on the URL it will say "copied"

Back at the DIS scroll to the top of the page until you see the red bar.
click on user CP
click on edit signature
click your curser in the open box
click on the picture of the postcard (with the mountain) at the top of the box
a new box will pop up
paste your URL from photobucket in that new box
you can then see a preview before saving the changes.

let me know if it doesn't work. i'll be on and off the boards for a while.

Well-----geez-----nodistractions from the DIS I guess I have to go do housework......

Thanks for reminding me what I did today. LOL! I cleaned up quite a bit around here so hopefully I will have a little more free time for the next few days. ;) I even took down the curtains in our room because they were so dusty. :(

:grouphug:

Has your DS#3 been diagnosis with Marfan's syndrome? My DB has it - he is 34 and is now over 7' tall and keeps growing. It comes from my mom's family - my grandfather had it, my greatgrandmother had it (we don't know about her siblings but assume some of them did as well), my aunt has it, and two of my cousins. My brother also has the heart condition that tends to develop and at some point will probably have to have either a full heart transplant or some kind of reconstructive surgery on the valves in his heart - as he has other health issues this neither of these may be an option for him. If Marfan's is diagnosised early they can begin doing immediate tests for the underlying medical issues that go along with it so they can monitor them and do proactive intervention before they become full blown medical problems like my brothers.

Wow, I am amazed that someone else knows about this! This was one of the things we learned about when #2 was going through all of his problems (it took months before they figured out what was wrong with him). Matt doesn't have a lot of the other signs (chest, pinkie/thumb measurements), but because he is so tall and is a competitive swimmer, the doctor recommended having his heart checked when he is in HS. We will also have to watch his eyes as he is very near-sighted and this could lead to detached retinas.

How did they diagnose your brother? We were told it is a genetic condition. My husband, his sister, and her son are very tall, but they all stopped growing. My other two sons are about 6'1.5". We think the meds messed with James' growth, and Eric may still grow as he is only 15.

They have the tests over three days but i had to schedule all three for one day (March 14th) because my job isn't paying me to take the time off.

One test is three hrs, one is two, and one is two & half.

That sounds like a nightmare! :scared:

Crash--

Thought you'd like to see a picture of the Enna-lets doing the polar bear slide this afternoon.

What an incredible picture! I'll bet they had fun! Did you give it a go, too?

Oh please...I had a new garage door opener that sat in the box,in my front room, for a Year before it finally got installed!:confused3

There have been Hunter ceiling fans that were 75% off at Target years ago in the loft in our garage waiting to go in the kid's rooms so they aren't so humid in the summer months. :rolleyes1
