I think I had enough the first time around. Oh, and I hate the Cosby Show - don't know why because it was a great show, but I couldn't watch it the first time around and I have even less patience for it this time.

oooh...like, for real??? it is ??? i LOVED that show. i remember way back when kirk cameron came to my hometown with his wife and her father...i think he was having heart surgery or something. that was the talk of the town forever! and i have a pic to prove it!! LOL!

I have to print up a flyer for dd's school on Box Tops 4 Education. Next deadline is 2/28. My neighbor and partner in PTO crime has called me twice this week about a flyer. I don't want her to have to call again. She knows where I live! 3 houses down the block!

Some people can develop an immunity to cats. I did. When I was pregnant with Ilea, I suddenly decided I wanted a kitten (talk about a strange craving!) to hold, not to eat! So we rescued two kittens from the local shelter. (Our plan had been just one, but I wanted a grey kitten and this other kitten was just so cute...) I put up with sniffles, etc for several months, while pregnant, when I couldn't take any anti-allergy medication. How do they thank me? The take turns peeing on my bathroom carpets! They used to pee in our dining room, but we had that carpet pulled up and replaced with hardwood flooring instead. Yes, they're both fixed. That hasn't stopped them.

I developed an immunity to cats...wanting them around that is. We had cats all my life. My sister said that they had to get rid of one of the cats when them moved because of the kids. We took it. Guess what it did after I dealt with it in the cage howling for 4 hours? It started peeing everywhere when it was upset!!! The bed! The carpet! It went back to them or it would have been put to sleep. The neighbors found a kitten at the playground & we took it in after our wedding. It was fine...until I was pregnant with DD & was too sick to pay attention to her. We had to keep her in the family room at night & cover everything with plastic tarps. The thing would pee on something of DS's and I had to find it before he did. DS was 18 months or so when it started going after him pretending that it wanted to be pet then scratching him with her teeth. That did it for me. I put it in the crate, put DS in the car & took it to the SPCA. I told them that we had found it on the side of the road...live around some rural areas where people do dump animals. That gave her a couple extra days to have someone come in & adopt her. I didn't want her around an infant biting.
